Lithium battery encapsulation
In lithium batteries, adhesive as a filling material can provide protection for the battery. For example, in order to prevent external impact, compression, and electrolyte leakage during the use of lithium batteries, some manufacturers use epoxy sealant with good sealing performance to seal the batteries. At the same time, this sealing adhesive can also provide insulation to a certain extent, avoiding local overheating of the battery during charging and discharging, improving the safety and overall performance of the battery, and extending its service life.
Fuel cell encapsulation
For fuel cells, such as proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), critical components such as the membrane electrode assembly (MEA) inside need to be protected by encapsulation. Special adhesives with high chemical stability and temperature resistance will be used for sealing, such as fluorinated sealing adhesives, which can withstand complex conditions such as acidic environment, high temperature, and high humidity generated during the operation of fuel cells, ensuring the stability of MEA and other components, maintaining the efficient power generation capacity of fuel cells, and ensuring their long-term stable operation.
